Here's a brief on my trip to Korea from 13 Dec to 19 Dec 2008
Day 1 - Spent most of the time in the air... on the plane. We left Singapore and reached Hong Kong around 1515hrs for transit to Korea. Reached Korea around 10 plus Korea Time, the temperature was 0°C, I was freezing!! Went out of the hotel with my tripod to take some photos, my fingers was almost frozen.
Taken in Hong Kong at the Airport transit area.

Outside Hotel, testing my camera at the same time.
Day 2 - Went to Everland (Only). I could say it's Korea very own 'Disneyland'. The most interesting place is the Safari, we get to see closed up view of tigers, lion and bears. There is also an animal, it's a cross breed of a lion and a tiger. We tried the 'Zha Jiang Mian' for lunch, its good!
This is the cross breed I was talking about.

Day 3 - Siinheungsa Temple is located in Seoraksan National Park. We took the cable car up to almost the top and walk up some stairs for 5mins. I was having brain freeze that time, too cold and I think I wasn't feeling good, lack of sleep I guess. Next we went to Seorak Waterpia, also located at Seoraksan National Park Area. I didn't try any of them as I am not feeling good. Went to order a Hot Chocolate, the girl was reading from a piece of paper. I told my sister, 'Look, she is looking at the recipes.' It took her quite a while to make the Hot Chocolate, I waited. Then finally she is done, and handed over to me and said. 'First time.' That's explained.
Went to the Ski resort and took the cable car up to the top was still having brain freeze. SNOW! Eh... but it's like ice kachang leh... Saw Bae Yong-joon and Chio Ji-woo, I mean their life size poster. I fell while stepping on some ice, some red marking on my left knee and left elbow, I was more like protecting my camera then myself when I fell.

Day 4 - Skiing was tiring. The gear is so heavy but it was fun though. My first try I almost bang into a girl from my group, I couldn't stop and the only way I could think of is to fall, and it works. LOL. Getting up the slop with ski was tough; I have to take out my ski and climb back up and ski down. After lunch, we went to Lotte World; another theme park just like to previous one. Too little time so didn't get to go around much. We went to do some shopping after dinner, boring leh.
We left our water in the bus overnight, and see what we got?
Lotte World, does it looks like Disneyland?
Day 5 - Gyeongbokgung and shopping day, also our last group photo. Got agitated by some TKL while trying to take some photos, they are so buay zhi dong as usual. The Kimchi making and wear Korean Traditional Costume. Shopping again =.="

Last group photo, can you see the mountain's eyes and nose?
Day 6 - Last day in Korea, woke up early and do some shopping. Fly to Hong Kong and again... shopping.

The Team

Thank you all!
This is my first time travelling to Korea and Hong Kong. Tour guide and the photographer gave each of us a hug after our last dinner in Korea. A bit chua tio when she hugged me, as I thought guys shake hand only. First time being hugged by a lady. First time ski, fun yet tiring. First time had to buy cup noodle to eat in the hotel after dinner during a tour, guess the weather is too cold. First time the group so cooperative, all very on time.
The food in Korea, it's all pretty much standard. All mixed up and cook, comes with rice and water. Kimchi is on every meal, that's the best part for me. I finished everything.
Weather in Korea is freezing cold. I only know that upon arriving in Korea, it was 0°C. Not sure about the rest of the week. Not even a day of snowing, but still get to see some ice kachang.
Ok, I have to admit that I started to miss Korea a little now. Especially the weather, skiing, the food (bibimbap and kimchi), and some pretty mei mei in the group. lol XD
Maybe I should go to Square 2 to take a walk, since level 3 is also known as little Seoul. Hope to find some bibimbap there.
These are reproduced using my D80. These photos were taken by the photographer, Kevin (Canon user), and was sold to us in a booklet. I took the photo out and place it inside my shooting tent and set up my wireless flash on top (not a good way, but I don't have any spot light at the moment). Lens correction using photoshop.
